Imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, but here’s a contender for second place. IGA, the international supermarket retailer, has added employee engagement to its Retail Learning Institute.
Specifically, the Institute added five videos from the most recent study by the Coca‑Cola Retailing Research Council North America NACS report, People Power for C-Stores. Among other topics, the videos cover how employee engagement improves business results, how to hire right and build corporate culture and how to get started on building better employee engagement. Our report shows how implementing these simple tools can enhance customer experiences and grow your business.
The Institute leadership asked to use the videos as essential parts of the course offerings on management and leadership. Paulo Goelzer, head of the IGA Institute, said, “The CCRRC videos feature real industry people with real problems and strategies of how to deal with them. The changes to the workplace have transformed the engagement equation, forcing us to rethink it.”
